Chef Chaz was recognized as Dallas’s Top 10 “Who’s Who” among chefs in D-Home & Garden Magazine—2002.

Chef Chaz comes to Houston by way of Dallas , originally from New Orleans . He is a graduate of the Culinary Academy in Dallas.  In Dallas , Chef Chaz studied with well-known cookbook author and chef, Stephan Pyles, of Star Canyon and AquaKnox Restaurants. After obtaining great exposure in the restaurant industry, Chef Chaz studied extensively in various regions of Italy to broaden his culinary diversity. This had lead to his unique brand of cooking, which is fusion of southern cuisines from South Louisiana and Southern Italy . While maintaining his personal culinary education abroad, Chef Chaz accepted a fun and exciting position of planning all menus for the Dallas Mavericks for their road trips.

Chef Chaz has also taught children cooking classes at Sur La Table, enjoys preparing creative dishes for multiple fund raising and charitable events in both Dallas and Houston, and has taught nutritional cooking classes for the North Texas Food Bank.

Chef Chaz is excited about his many new opportunities to share his passion for food with such a great food-loving city like Houston .
